The Power in The Shadows: Dehumanization of Society by Hernan Arroyave

Humanity is in a critical time for its survival. So much so that if we don’t open our eyes and get out of the emotional trap that we are in, we will lose everything that makes us human.

The power in the shadows has a conforming social infrastructure that faithfully obeys its agenda by utilizing social media, educational systems, political presence, and the economic system. With this agenda, the power in the shadows has developed a plot to strip us of our rationality and our values. I’m surprised and at the same time scared at seeing the direction that society is going in. How far are they willing to take us?

In my opinion, everything started with music as a means to dehumanize us. The cultural revolution of the 60’s was a social explosion where for the first time in history, the youth were taking their power and their place in society. It composed of the civil rights movement, women’s and gay’s rights. For the first time, the youth was imposing their own criteria and their own artistic expression by revolting against social norms such as music, drugs, and sexuality, amongst other things. Never before did the youth put forth their own commandments. It was them, not the middle-aged men running the system, that brought forth an artistic wave of music and thought. This revolution was different and wouldn’t have the same impact as previous revolutions. The main difference was in the strong anti-war sentiment and the counterculture revolution, where the youth developed a set of attitudes opposed to the prevailing social norm such as experimentation with drugs, sexual freedom, and equality, among other things.

As we all know, the youth are the most idealist, the most utopic, and as a result they are the most detached from wealth. The youth is more inclined to happiness as one of the fundamentals of life, manifesting itself in things such as love, peace, and happiness - all pure states that don’t have economic or governmental influence.

The power in the shadows tried to stop the movement with things such as the war on drugs and events like the Democratic National Convention in 1968 where anti-war protesters were met with police brutality. The power in the shadows was met with such great resistance from the public that they were forced to step down. If the cultural revolution of the 60’s left us with something, it’s that the power in the shadows learned from their mistakes and realized that they couldn’t go against the current. They couldn’t go against how we express our emotions, doubts, desires, fears, and frustrations. Trying to stop or dim the light of this revolution would lead to a consciousness even greater than that of the collective in order to make it tangible. It’s like telling a child he or she can’t have a piece of candy. The child will have an even greater desire for this candy.

This simple idea brought forth by the 60’s revolution is counterintuitive to the model of vain consumerism that the people in power want to impose. The elite understood that what they had to do was not stop this sentiment nor implement their own sociocultural revolutions. They took advantage of what the counterculture revolution could offer them and conceived ideas in laboratories specializing in social engineering. They contracted behavior professionals, experts in human control, and designed an agenda of sociocultural expression that was attuned to their interest, and oh so subtly injecting it into society. They started with music to dehumanize and dumb down the masses.

The way we process music is different and listening to music increases blood flow to areas of our brain related to emotions. You may feel chills when you listen to a good song because your brain is releasing dopamine, the “feel-good” chemical of the brain. The effects of music are incredible, taking as an example music therapy on alzheimer’s patients. Patients suffering from Alzheimer’s disease engaging in active music therapy such as singing or playing an instrument can increase cognition, awareness, and communication.

Because music is so impactful, the psyche of a population is dehumanized partly from the absence of music that opens your mind and soul, you then lose the capacity to think critically and you are at the mercy of the malevolent agenda. So, since music is the blood of human expression, you would need to attack it at the jugular vein.

Now, why was music attacked? Because it’s the most authentic way to express emotion. Everyone likes music. Music has no language, and in many good songs, the lyrics are irrelevant. A song can be sung in any language, but music along with its frequencies move humans in the same way and move the same instincts and feelings. A sad song inspires sadness, a happy song inspires happiness, and so on and so forth, without the barrier of language. Music is the most primitive, genuine, real, and is the representation of human sentiment. Paintings, literature, and other artistic expressions also achieve the same purpose. However, music is much more large scale. It reaches many more people and moves many more people. For that reason, music is also the most “dangerous”. Music is the manifestation of our humanity and our consciousness, and it is how we perceive reality. Therefore, music was the first element of social infrastructure that the elite needed to attack.

Everything Started in The 80’s

The attack towards music started with subtly changing it, and it started in the 80’s when it was discovered that machines could imitate music. Unable to create music, computer machines then started to limit it.

The attack towards music started with percussion, one of the first instruments invented by man. The wind and string instruments followed thereafter. I analyzed this many years later after I was listening to rock one night. I noticed that the drums before the 80’s sounded more metallic, and the drums sounded sharper. After the 80’s, the sound of the drums changed and started to sound more like when you hit a microphone with your hands, producing a sound that is much deeper. If you want to hear an example, simply listen to the Beatles and Nirvana, and listen to how different the drums in each band sound.

Later came techno, pop music, and reggaeton, all by-products of computer-generated sounds, further limiting the sound of music. If you hear many diverse radio stations and musical platforms you might agree with me that between 70% and 80% of music that we listen to is not the byproduct of an instrument such as a piano, guitar, violin, etc., but it is merely the result of a computer program that produces sounds that imitate music. Because they are artificially made, they lose that fundamental and primitive connection with the heart and spirit of human beings. There is something different about hearing music made by another human. The emotions it stirs feel deeper compared to beats and tones generated by a computer. It’s like comparing the facial features of a sim game character to that of a real life human, the emotions of a real human being are felt more profoundly.

This new wave of computer-generated music with empty lyrics drives us to be submerged in a sterile sea of consumer passions that are fleeting such as the sexual revolution, individualism, and consumerism of material things - all of these imposed without the capacity for self-reflection. We are losing the capacity to question ourselves over existential and fundamental ideologies, things that are actually important, resulting in a generation of idiot and docile human beings. The sexual revolution that exposes us to a cult of emotions and leisurely passions reduces us to robotic human beings.

The great majority of youth that I speak to agree that reggaeton is a piece of shit, and that real music is nicer, but they listen to reggaeton and don’t know why they like it. They only like it for its popularity, and because everyone listens to it. That is where I can affirm with all conviction that it’s not important to know what you like, it’s important to know why you like it. Damaging music and its ability to inspire and connect our spirit to our surroundings creates a generation without personality and without standards. 50% of the work is done here. Now they are going to bombard us with reality tv shows, soap operas, garbage television, in order to disconnect us further from reality. That sums up another percentage that contributes to the stupidity of society.

However, the power in the shadows is never conformed with their work. The work isn’t done here. They are missing one thing.

To confuse us.

A human being lacking in identity and consciousness is very easy to confuse.

What is the idea behind confusing a society and making it dysfunctional and self-destructive? The purpose is to erase the idea of humanity from our memories, to destroy the family unit and reduce the population. And with this gender ideology they are achieving this confusion. The greatest crime and what infuriates me is what they’re doing with children. From an early age, you are aware of everything but your sexual aspects. Why are you sowing this in children? Why are you talking about sex with kids who still don’t even ask those questions? Why are you giving answers without receiving the questions? Why do you allow underage kids to mutilate their genitals? Why do we teach 7- and 8-year-olds about homosexualism, self-perception, self-satisfaction, masturbation, etc. If you are under 18 years old, you can’t drink a beer nor smoke a cigarette, but you can engage in a sex operation change.

The idea is simple.

A confused child turns into a confused adult.

A confused adult can’t form a family, and the family unit is the pillar of society.

Let’s open our eyes, our children are untouchable, and we have to protect them. But while their parents are absorbed in this pseudo reality of music and social media, they won’t be subject to analyze the type of education their children are receiving. Remember that if we resist, we question, and we revolt, they won’t get what they want.

We are more, we are stronger.

We are pensive men and women; the power is ours.

Let’s not allow the elite to take it away. Let’s not allow them to confuse us.

Let’s not be dehumanized by the power in the shadows.
